Welcome to 44Horizons. My name is Chris Hetlage, I am the owner and operator of 44Horizons. I specialize in commercial photography and videography in and around the Lake Country region of Central Georgia, including Lake Oconee (Greensboro and Eatonton), Lake Sinclair (Milledgeville), and Athens.
I worked for many years as a software engineer and executive for large firm and recently left that business to start my own company. I have a long history of freelance photography and I have had many of my works published in magazines, news publications, and on TV, including Sky and Telescope, The New York Times, CNN, The Weather Channel, and NASA. My primary subject over the years has been imaging of deep space astronomy objects, taken through high powered telescopes and specialized cameras, and aerospace photography. I have moved on to more specialized work now to including aerial drone work and real estate photography.
